Hyatt Place Cleveland/Westlake/Crocker Park

Clean rooms, clean facility, great hot water and powerful shower water pressure. Accommodating staff. Good breakfast, good coffee. Comfortable beds. Tiny fitness room. Only two destination car chargers in the garage and they were taken - needs more car charging in the garage. Decent restaurant next door - the kitchen was open until 10:30pm.

We absolutely love this place. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm, friendly, and caring attitude. Their attentiveness and willingness to help at every step truly elevated our stay and made us feel comfortable and valued throughout our time here.

First time and probably last time staying here, but not for reasons you may think based off the amount of stars I have given. I will start with the pros: Great location, room was clean aside from a few scuffs on the wall, and there was a pool onsite. The cons: water pressure in the shower was not great at all. I tried changing to settings on the shower head, but the pressure went from ok to not really to just give up! The las con would be the check-in process. Maybe the shower head could take notes from the amount of pressure of hospitality that was received. Julius was the gentleman who checked me in. There was no “Hello…welcome in,” nor “How are you this evening…” He was very quick to tell me there was a pool on site and what time breakfast was. Great customer service was not to be found

Being a Globalist with Hyatt, I've probably stayed at 50 different Hyatt Places around the country. I've generally found them to feel old, dilapidated, junky, and dated. This one, however, was SO much better. I wish they could all be like this -- better lobby, better rooms, better service, better breakfast. Why can't Hyatt just take this model and apply it to other locations? What's also nice about this hotel is everything to do within walking distance - shopping, food, etc. Only negative is the traffic in the area. Super busy, tight roads, lots of volume. Bottom line - if staying at a Hyatt in northeast Ohio, go with this one or Hyatt Regency in downtown Cleveland.
