We went for the wild card game at Bank of America Stadium. The location was just on the edge of downtown, but right near the public bus and light rail. However, it was very walkable. We walked to the stadium in about 10-15 minutes. The rooms were clean. The hotel lobby is actually located on the 10th floor, as this is a building where people reside. There is a rooftop restaurant. We went there, but decided it was a little too upscale for our dress, and we didn't want to change. So we came down to the bar near the lobby. Decent drinks and the view was just as good! The staff was INCREDIBLE, ATTENTIVE and TOP NOTCH, from the moment we drove up to the valet, to the time we checked out. I made a sign for the game and I needed it cut down and the front desk was very happy to oblige! I would def
During snowmageddon my husband and I stopped in Charlotte on our way from Pittsburgh to Florida. What a wonderful stop! The rooms were great as was the price. Great breakfast included. Staff was super nice and helpful. We especially enjoyed Sam who valeted our car. Unsolicitedly, he helped me pack my car which was a relief to me. Nice to see such nice manners in a young man.
The price was amazing, the staff were nice. That’s about as good as it got. I could hear endless traffic noise at all times. Pretty sure the guy next to me had untreated COPD or was suffering from the plague because his endless coughing coupled with wildly thin walls echoed those coughed throughout the room my whole stay. Theres a lot next to the hotel. $31 a day compared to the valet costs plus tips. It is in a great location and you must have a card key to get to the floor which adds to the good security/safety feeling.
The location was great, and it was definitely convenient having a rooftop bar right at the hotel. Unfortunately, that’s about where the positives end for me, which is why I’m giving this stay 2 stars. The staff experience was very disappointing. The man working the night shift was extremely rude to us when we returned to the hotel, which immediately left a bad impression. After we checked out, we called to see if we had accidentally left something behind and were once again met with a rude staff member. To make matters worse, I still have not received my $75 deposit back. Overall, the poor customer service completely outweighed the good location. In my opinion, it just isn’t worth it — I would recommend staying elsewhere.
Positive: Be sure to visit the Fahrenheit are in restaurant on the 21st floor best views of the Charlotte skyline at night. Food was very good as well. Negative: ""
