Hyatt Place Baltimore/Owings Mills

My stay was a nightmare. I stayed during the snow fall for the weekend 1/25-1/28 and it was horrible. They didn't plow their parking lot so people were getting stuck all weekend. They have 1 microwave for an entire hotel. The complimentary breakfast was dried out. You would've thought having an indoor pool was a perk nope... The pool room was nice and warm and the water was just as cold as the frigid weather outdoors (smfh). They only have two tv channels. I used to love this hotel no problems but it has gone to you know where. I am not pleased at ALL 😡.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hyatt Place for a baby shower and a mini anniversary vacation and I think our experience was really nice here! Everyone was really nice and friendly. We had the king sized bed single room with a pull out couch and the bed was VERY comfortable. I would recommend this place for sure. It's only 30 minutes outside of baltimore and even so, the area isn't too bad. You're kind of surrounded by everything. I will say I can tell it's an older building from the popcorn ceiling and the hallow bathroom door but that was no issue. I am grateful we had such a great experience here! Thank you.

Our room included a desk, coffee station, large couch, and an immense open floor area. The location was convenient for our conference and had dining choices within a short drive. The breakfast had many warm options including sausage, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, potatoes, waffles, and oatmeal. The best part? The check in receptionist was super professional and friendly and so was the lady who provided our breakfast service. SO nice!

Positive: After a long day of work, a hotel room that’s both clean and comfortable is non-negotiable. This hotel absolutely delivered. The room was spotless, the bed was cozy, which made it easy to relax and recharge. This hotel truly stands out. Negative: I was surprised and a bit disappointed by the outdated TV setup. There was no option to log into Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming platforms, and the analog channels were low-quality. Had that been available, this hotel would’ve easily been a 10/10 stay.

Stayed one night while visiting family nearby. This hotel was quiet, clean, and met my expectations. Other reviewers mentioned musty smells and poor maintenance, but I didn't experience any of that. The room was bigger than I expected with a large front sitting room and open bathroom with the sink outside from the toilet and shower. It was a handicapped accessible room, so that might be why it was so big but it was very appreciated. Staff was welcoming. Breakfast was typical, but the restaurant was well maintained.
