Hyatt Place Austin Airport

On a busy noisy highway, hearing jets accelerating as you are at the bottom of one of the runways, and with an in-room aircon unit that makes a lot of noise when turning on and off (it cannot be set to ON constantly), I slept very poorly in the hotel. It’s a travesty Hyatt would lend its name to a hotel that is more like a Holiday Inn Express, than a real hotel. The staff were friendly at check-in, and the bed was at least clean, but I slept very little. Given the runway and highway proximity, you’d be better advised to take a hotel just slightly further from the airport if you want a goodnight sleep. Very poor value for money.

Very clean hotel. The proximity to the airport was excellent. They had a great system setup for their shuttle services. We did NOT wait even a full minute for any of our transportation needs, which was AMAZING! The hotel staff was pleasant.

This hotel is one of the closest to the airport. My room had great views of aircraft taking off. This was great but was a little noisy. Room was clean and hotel in great shape. The exercise equipment was in best condition I have seen. The breakfast was great as was the night shift girl I spoke to each morning at the front desk. Very alert and friendly for being up all night. Only issues I had were housekeeping knocked on my door at noon even though had 2 PM late checkout and no usable indoor pool for winter stays. For the price a good hotel for airport stays.

Good experience staying overnight to catch early morning flight. Comfortable quiet room, friendly staff, convenient airport shuttle. Pleased that hotel could provide a reasonable selection of freshly prepared dinner meals, as there are no readily accessible restaurants for those without cars.
