Hyatt Place Allentown / Lehigh Valley

It was our first attempt at a hotel stay with our 2 dogs and it was easy! Hotel staff was welcoming, there is plenty of green space right outside the hotel for dogs to do their business and there is even a doggie bag and waste station! It was $50 per dog which seemed standard. We would definitely stay again when we are in the area visiting family.

Honestly, the very greatest hotel experience of any place I've ever been. The front destination staff here in Trexlertown is so incredible, so nice, so warm. The rooms are just gorgeous and comfortable; real glasses, cups, dishes- spacious bathrooms with flattering light- wonderful showers, too- sliding glass walk in style. Incredibly comfortable furniture, awesome beds and the TV swivels all the way around so you can watch from any place in the room. Their restaurant is wonderful, too, with a beautiful bar that's cozy enough to work in, with outlets at both ends of the bar. Food is great, staff is great. This place deserves 10 stars. Seriously.

Positive: The size of the beds was great. The overall size of the bathroom was wonderful (so many hotels have bathrooms have a very tight fit); the size of the shower was magnificent. The bed was very comfortable. Negative: The doors on the shower kept drifting open and seemed loose which echoed when the occupant closed them while showering and sounded like the person in the shower slipped or fell because it was very loud. Also, we would have liked 4 pillows on each bed.

This is a stellar property. It is spotless, 24/7 and the staff is incredible. The rooms are large and comfortable with floor to ceiling windows. The heating and cooling system is equally wonderful. The bathroom is well lit and comes with a very welcoming shower. Additionally, the rooms are quiet and the elevators are some of the best I've seen in an Allentown hotel. Needless to say, the security is top notch. My girlfriend and I cannot wait to return. And when we do, we want to try their awesome looking pool and fitness room.

I was attending a conference January 2026 hosted at the hotel with ~150 people from my organization. The hotel provided a very comfortable ballroom for our group, with electronic presentation capabilities. They had notepad and pen for each person, and candy dishes at every other place on the classroom-style tables, which were refreshed daily. The package provided for our group was quite reasonable. The staff stayed out of the way and operated quietly in the background, but were readily available. Looking forward to our conference being there again next year.
