Hyatt House Sterling/Dulles Airport-North

I stayed 3 nights for work and was very impressed. The staff is the nicest I have ever had. The front desk gave me early check-in and even walked me to the exit to show me where the store was. The room was spotless with a comfortable bed, a full fridge, and a clean kitchen.The room service lady was also wonderful—I dropped my cards purse and she found it and gave it back to me.Breakfast was great. I had a small billing issue because my company pays the bill, but the front desk fixed it quickly. The bar burger was delicious too even though they forgot my bacon.i will definitely stay again.

I was quite happy with this hotel. The room was very comfortable, larger than expected, with full size fridge and kitchen facilities. Everything was very clean, shower was hot, bed was comfortable. The breakfast was way better than your average airport hotel. They had name brand tea (Tazo) rather than the cheap stuff. Even the bread for toast was super fresh, extra thick, obviously better quality. I really enjoyed the berry compote and nuts provided for the yogurt. Staff was helpful and professional. Would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, and service at the front desk was very friendly across three shifts. We met the general manager who was very nice as well. What ruined it for us was being charged $11/night for parking. This is suburban location with a surface parking lot off of a highway - not a downtown business district. And whoever is moderating these reviews told another reviewer that the parking charge is added to "maintain the lot". That's disgusting. Why not also add additional $11 charges to the room, the breakfast, and the use of the elevator - because they too need to be maintained?

Positive: Staff was very nice. Negative: Bathroom needs updating, furniture should be steam cleaned, my wife wiped it with a lysol wipe and it came out with black on the wipe.

They charge for parking which is not standard for area hotels. And they cannot simply add the parking charge to the bill like any other hotel. You have to scan a QR code and enter all your information (which I suspect they sell) to a third party. Very time consuming, it’s basically like creating a whole new account. At the desk. During check in. In my case it was 1am and I was very tired. Total hassle. Also, breakfast ends early at 9:30. Most hotels serve breakfast till 10 at least. This early end time is not posted anywhere nor mentioned at check in. I will never return mainly bc of the parking fee which is a hassle of a transaction.
