Extended Stay America Select Suites- Washington D.C. - Sterling - Dulles

Horrible experience – do not stay here This hotel is a complete disappointment. The rooms and stairs are dirty; the stairs are practically disgusting. When it snowed, it took them forever to clear it, showing a total lack of care for guests. The housekeeping service is nonexistent: every time you request it, they claim they went to your room and you refused, which is false. The fire alarm goes off constantly, even in the middle of the night, and the laundry area has an unbearable smell. Honestly, if you want the worst experience of your life, this is the perfect place. Don’t waste your money or your time here.

Room trashed upon arrival, no one was available or able to switch my room. |||The location was the only right about this stay. I booked this for a night stay so I would near the airport. Upon arrival the office was closed and I had use a customer service phone next to the lobby door. After speaking we someone the attendant came in less than a min. I open the door to find that room has not been cleaned. Bottles and cans are everywhere. The window was open. The bathroom was horrible. I wasn’t able to get a new room and was told that was a housekeeping issue wait until 9am. I charged my phone, requested my ride and left. I took my 3 kids and went to the airport.

Staff was rude in the morning. I knocked on the lobby door which was locked around 7:30am to ask a question and the lady at the desk looked at me like I was bothering her and made me yell through the door my question. This was on 12/18/2025. It was cold outside. Super rude for no reason as she scrolled on her phone. The guy who checked us in on 12/17/2025 around 11pm was super nice and helpful. Even walked us to the room when we had an issue with the key/door not working. One of the towels had stains on them. Otherwise the room was ok. I would not stay here again.

Positive: I absolutely hated my 2 hour experience at the extended stay. I will never stay here again. Negative: Absolutely disgusting

What is stuff? What is rooms? What location? What neighbors are you are? It’s not safe to go there. It’s not clean. It smells dirty full of smokes. Don’t even go there.
