Hudson Valley Hotel and Conference Center

Positive: "" Negative: The hotel has only a few rooms that are rented for the night. The remainder of the hotel is in disrepair or rented to very low income. The only hotel I have stayed in with a school bus stop.

I went there it was no running hot water not in the shower nor the sink roaches on the bed. I had a cup of coffee on the side table. I want to pick it up. Thank God I looked in my cup. It was a roach in my coffee cup they don’t care if the keys don’t work, a friend of mine‘s had gotten a hotel. He was locked up in the room when he came back from work he had to come stay in my room they did not give him his money back, they don’t care of what it is all they care about is your money do not go there. They went into my bank and tried to take $250 out of my account which I have proof of the save your information. Be careful with your credit cards with this hotel. The location is what drew me to this hotel, near to SUNY UAlbany. It was a bit overpriced for the room and common areas on offer. However, the breakfast was reasonably priced and gluten free bread was available. I saw some notices that some renovations are underway.. |Its in a safe area.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at... It was incredibly dirty. The carpet felt moist to the touch, there were hairs from previous guests all over, the furniture was sticky and stained. You can hear everything... The guests were loud and obnoxious. Throughout the night there was a on-and-off loud whistling noise from the bathroom. I guess something from the pipe? It was very irritating and made it very difficult to sleep through. The room was not cold enough, and the thermostat was missing from the AC unit (exposing the internals), so there was no way to regulate it. Cockroaches check. Not the most pleasant of owners. Several rooms were under construction. Microwave worked. Coffee device was missing parts. Extremely large front window was extremely uncomfortable. Would not recommend staying here.
