Howard Johnson by Wyndham Santa Cruz

This was an inexpensive stay in a very convenient location. We could walk to the pier, beach, and boardwalk. Parking was easy and safe. The staff were the best part! Very friendly and helpful. Little touches made it a very sweet stay.

Our stay was excellent. Very quiet at night, amazing view. Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent staff. Breakfast was good, coffee great. Zero problems extending our stay. Would stay again

I had an amazing stay twice now, our first stay was my birthday. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I swept away by the beautiful art from "Cece Santa Cruz". Celeste greeted us with a warm energy and welcoming smile. I was offered a small gift for my birthday and our room was perfect. We had an ocean view, the room was clean, smelt great and the mattress was firm and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, fresh and the lay out was glamorous. It truly feels like a five star hotel with budget friendly pricing. And PARKING is FREE off season! My second stay was just as amazing, consistent customer service and reliability you can count on! Thank you for a great stay! Twice!

Honestly this was the best hotel stay I’ve had. To begin, the staff and the lobby was top of the line. Welcoming and inviting. This room smelled clean, looked clean, and felt clean. The jacuzzi room was well maintained and the perfect addition to a perfect night. Breakfast was stocked well and staff was kind. We look forward to returning.

Positive: Location and clean room balcony was also very clean. Negative: Furniture could use updates chairs are torn. Entire refrigerator freezes everything. Arrived at location late at night door was locked understandably but door bell doesn't work. I had to call location to be let in.
