An affordable overnight on my drive south on 95. It takes a while to find your way here. Even with Google mapses help. The turns are many and the labeling of signs does not match the directions being spoken by the bot. But once you're here the room is very nice. Beware that the price you book for online even if going through the hojo's chain yourself will be upcharged by $2 for a "safe fee". Apparently this is for the safe that they have in every room which has somehow become a special edition between you booking online and showing up at the registration desk. As of checkout they are promising to return me that $2 to my credit card and we will see if I revisit this review to knock off stars if they Welch on the deal. Otherwise the room was very nice. Just one problem was easy slide drawe

The sheets and towels were clean and it was decently convenient to the Newark airport, which is what I was looking for prior to a red-eye flight. But everything else in the hotel is about five years overdue for a deep cleaning. ||||There were layers of grime and dirt built up around the outlets and light switches. The walls and bathroom countertop had random spots of discoloration and the bathtub looked to be pieces some of its enamel coating around the drain.||||There was a flat screen tv in the room, but I didn't even bother to turn it on because the screen looked filthy and I could see a big crack in the upper right of it.||||I stayed for less than six hours, intending to just catch a nap and not have to deal with Manhattan traffic before my flight. It was fine (if overpriced, given the

⭐️ 1 star I would never stay here under normal circumstances. My flight was canceled due to a snowstorm, and this was the only place available — which honestly should’ve been my first red flag. There is no food whatsoever. Not even a small breakfast setup. Just a half-empty vending machine with barely anything edible. The walls are insanely thin, so sleeping was basically impossible. The room itself was dirty, with visible stains on multiple surfaces, which was genuinely gross. On top of that, there were constant weird noises and unpleasant smells that made the whole place feel sketchy and uncomfortable. The TV barely had any channels, so there wasn’t even a way to distract myself. When I tried to connect to the hotel’s Wi-Fi so I could watch something on my phone, it redirected me to a

Positive: Location , Courtesy of the staff , parking slot , clean and comfortable bed Negative: room was small , absence of a wardrobe in the room , drinking water dispenser not available in any of the floor except for one near the cafeteria, sofa sets kept near the lift in 2nd floor were not a modern one, no luggage trolley option

Let's start with the front desk: why do they hire grumpy people who treat you like you're bothering them? The hotel is run-down, it smells like weed, the bathroom is in bad condition, and the hot water suddenly stops working. The restaurant isn't open. The coffee machine is broken. The room looks very old. There's nothing to do in the surrounding area. The only good thing is that it's close to the airport, but there's no way to walk to or from the hotel. The nearest bus stop is across a highway with no sidewalks... I conclude that they shouldn't be charging these rates for what they offer. I think people choose it because of the name, but it simply isn't worth it. A very bad experience.
