First will start by saying that I travel a ton and am very picky with hotels. I’m so glad I decided to take a chance on ZaZa for my trip to Austin - the hotel really impressed us! I thought it was really more of a 5-star hotel than 4-star. We booked through Amex and were upgraded to a suite upon check in, which was lovely. Very comfortable and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. They thought of every detail (except I would recommend adding a full length mirror). We had a good meal at Group Therapy, which was also beautifully decorated and the bar staff was great. The fitness center was very well done and kept spotless. We also found the daily coffee bar on our floor and afternoon tea in the lobby to be very classy and a nice touch. I found the staff to be perfectly fine. Maybe not t
We loved our stay at hotel Zaza in Austin. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with amazing customer service. Your check-in starts off with a glass of rosé or a soft chocolate cookie. We found check-in was a breeze. Our room was spacious and decorated tastefully. We really enjoyed the option of two king beds. Our first evening there we had a knock at the door around 6 and they dropped off three glass bottles of water along with millionaire bites and moon pies to wish us good evening. We enjoyed the pool and view along with cocktails around the poolside, we found all the cocktails, refreshing, creative and delicious. One late night my teen and I shared a piece of cake & 2 cups tea. The hostess even offered to make our experience more cozy by coming over with two blankets to rest on
We are Austin locals and stayed overnight at Hotel ZaZa on New Years Eve. Our experience was great in every way. When I booked online they suggested I join their “Zip” loyalty program, and I’m so glad I did, because upon our arrival we were informed we were receiving a free upgrade to one of their Magnificent Seven suites. It was wonderful! Loved the eclectic Hill Country vibe throughout the hotel. All the staff were outstanding—friendly and efficient—from the valet and doormen to the front desk and restaurant staff. We arrived too early to check in (their standard check out time is *noon*, we arrived at 11), so we hopped across the street to the Lavaca Street Bar (which I also highly recommend) until we received a call that our room was ready; well before the usual check in time. We
My wife and I spent three nights at Hotel Zaza downtown in Austin on an anniversary trip. We typically stay at lower tier hotels, but we used points to splurge - it lived up to our expectations and more and was a great getaway. We booked a suite, and the room was large and luxurious. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony had a view of the pool and Republic Square. The shower was also very large and had great water pressure. There is a butler's pantry available on each floor with coffee and tea and biscuits (small cookies) each morning. The living room area in the suite was very comfortable. The service from the valet to housekeeping to the front desk was all great. The location was very convenient to restaurants, shopping and the riverfront, and they even provide a free shuttle anywher
We have been travelling around the USA for 4 weeks and this was the best hotel we have stayed in, including some that were double the price. ||What stands out is the customer service, kindness and approachability of the staff that is clearly engrained in their culture. From the moment we arrived, apologetically but tired post a long flight, Aaliyah got us checked in early and provided us with details on the amenities and her must do list in Austin which we really appreciated. We requested a kettle for a tea at night - it was immediately brought to the room. Overnight I needed ibuprofen and realised the packet I brought was expired - we asked the front desk and they were happy to provide it. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. ||The room was HUGE - and we actually paid for the small
