Hotel Tampa Riverwalk

Positive: The breakfast was delicious, view of the water is nice and location to boardwalk, also the staff is very helpful Negative: The in room air control pretty much doesnt work. It was sooo cold in there despite setting the thermastat to 91 degrees F. It still just blew cold air. The toliet seat lid wouldnt stay up so my husband had to hold it with his leg

Ally M. Was such a great bartender/ server her attention to detail is unmatched. The drinks and food were a 10 / 10. Highly recommend. The sunset views from the room are impeccable. When planning your visit downtown Tampa, this hotel is a must!

Disappointed with hotel in general . I understand that it's been purchased by Hilton and that it'll go through refurbishment this year. Great location and that is the only positive thing I can say. Very outdated. Breakfast was horrible. Eggs tasted like cardboard, bacon overdone and crumbled when chewed on. Sausages were dry. Coffee was horrible. Dinner was ok. Bathroom was ok. Shower curtains dirty. Air conditioning unit could not keep up with demand and was noisy. Had to keep it on low fan speed. On a positive note, the staff contacted me to check how things were going. So they have good comms. I reported issues and hotel gave me some financial break . Once it's gone thru Hilton update should be better. One last thing, room was close to pool and they had music blasting for two days f

Honestly, I was terrified to stay here reading all of the reviews, but I needed something cost effective and walkable to the convention center. All of the hate that this hotel gets is unwarranted. The hotel is old, yes, I will not deny that, but the beds were great, the sheets were clean, the towels were clean, our room was clean, the AC worked, the TV worked, wifi was no issue, valet was fabulous, the hotel staff was fabulous. I truly have no idea what all the hate is for. I felt like I need to write this review to counter everything everyone is saying! I booked a river view room. I could barely see the river. There was a garage right under neath my balcony and a roof right across blocking the actual view of the river. I paid extra to see an inch of water maybe if that. There is a cuckoo clock which they had no control over but it was annoying. There were teenagers EVERYWHERE there was some kind of conference that weekend which again the hotel had no control over. I just wish I would’ve known that I would be in a hotel full of teens. Now the important part is they charge almost $50 a night for valet. There is no where nearby to park for free. The room was almost $300 a night which would’ve been fine if I actually had a river view. It was SO OUTDATED, dingy, and in desperate need for renovations. The lights inside the room were very yello
