Hotel Magdalena

Great hotel off of South Congress. Walkable to everything in the area. Quick ride share to 6th street or everything downtown. Room was clean and very nice. Staff was extremely responsive and very helpful. The location being walkable was great, didn’t need the car for the stay so that was awesome. We didn’t bring swimming gear but the pool looks great, if we come with the kiddo I’m sure he would love it. Would stay again. Highly suggest booking a reservation at the speakeasy, great fun and atmosphere.

The valets are thieves. When we left they helped us load our rental. The next morning we discovered a duffel bag missing. We were in Austin to visit family and friends and the bag contained many gift sets of high-end cremes and other hygiene articles. Imagine our relief when the hotel had it in their Lost&Found - but missing 2/3 of the gifts, around $500 value! Management shrugged their shoulders. ------ It's super cute. The rooms are beautiful. But it's a case of form over function. One side of the bed doesn't have outlets. There are no hooks anywhere for coats or bags or toiletries or towels. There is a tiny half-height nook with a couple hangers for shirts, but no place to hang longer clothes, no drawers for our things. The bedside tables are cute but they don't have drawers. And so o

We came here for international women’s day concert and it was great. The outdoor space is nice and cozy and the location is absolutely perfect for shopping, dining, or exploring south congress and downtown Austin area. I would love to come and stay one day.

Beautiful rooms. The shower is so beautiful. Interesting layout as the bathroom’s door is literally next to the bed so there’s that. We were greeted by such a sweet lady. On the other hand, valet was bit unbothered to offer a service, as there’s no parking on property. The one across the hotel is $70 a day, so, would’ve love to be offered another option. Housekeeping knocked on 3 different occasions from 8 am to 10:30 ish, when check out is at 12, it’s a boomer to have them wake me up that early and constantly checking again if we have left.

I LOVED this hotel: the location, the rooms (the bathroom tile was everything), my balcony. Very stylish boutique hotel, but also one of the lesser priced ones to stay in the area. I was able to easily walk to everything I wanted to do but would be a quick rideshare to tons of other stuff
