Hotel LEX - Hotel and Conference Center

Just stayed for the second time and it was just and good as the first time. Rooms were clean. Then you enter your room it's quite narrow in the hall but then it opens right up to the room (bathroom also nice and large). The amenities are great (lots of room in the pool area). For me the best part was the hotel restaurant. Having the convenience of a restaurant right there was fantastic. The food was amazing. We ordered the ribs. Wow were they amazing. The chef came out to speak to us to see how we liked everything. He is the reason the food is so amazing. All food from scratch. I would recommend this hotel but if you can't stay at the hotel you can always order takeout from the restaurant.

Quite literally the best hotel ever! The inside is gorgeous and the black ceilings add to the bourbon aesthetic. The hallways are lined with paintings and artwork as well as beautiful tables and mirrors. The gym is 10/10. It includes treadmills, weights and much more. It also has things like yoga mats and foam rollers to use after your workout which is a huge if you like running. The breakfast and restaurant are also nice. I’d definitely recommend the food. But out of everything I would say the pool is the best. I have never seen anything more aesthetic than the layout and design of the pool. Overall this hotel was amazing and I would definitely recommend.

We stayed here as a short get away for my birthday. The location was easy to find from 75. Easy on and off. To be honest I was a little skeptical based on some of the reviews. However, our room was clean, and quiet. We had dinner in the onsite restaurant our first night. What a fun experience. We were the only ones there. Our waiter was excellent. The food was good too. The swimming pool was a bit chilly for us but since it is a slow season and not getting much use I can understand that. The shower floor in our room was a bit slippery but other than that the beds were comfortable and low enough that at least one of my dogs could get up on his own. Overall, great stay.

Positive: This hotel had updated decor and a very upscale vibe. The indoor pool was inviting and very well presented. The public bathrooms also had fancy decorations and were easy to access. Parking was ample and they had multiple entrances around the complex. Negative: The ring lights in the room could be difficult to control, but we figured it out for the most part.

The positives of my stay... rooms are large, property is clean, it offers a restaurant and full bar, excellent in door pool and property is updated. Opportunities... the staff is non-attentive and busy on their phones or socializing with friends. I tried to call the property before my arrival. I was put on hold immediately and phone was never picked up. Called a 2nd time and the same thing happened. When I arrived, it was not busy and I was clearly interrupting the desk clerk on her phone. Basic acknowledgement or a smile would go a long way if offered. Although the property is updated, you can still tell it was a run down hotel prior with some areas not yet updated.
