Hotel Dewey

It is affordable and just what we needed- a simple room for a few nights. We stayed off season. Two comfy double beds. Clean enough, not immaculate. There’s a mini kitchen- microwave, stove burner, coffee pot(we didn’t use them), a mini fridge. No dishes or pots or anything if you want to cook, iron, ironing board. Comfortable beds, Small table with 2 chairs. Nice bathroom, hairdryer. The air conditioner cooled well(but vents were dirty and buttons worn off) Small balcony with 2 chairs (unfortunately, our view was just the back of other buildings). My only complaint is there’s a bar next door and another nearby, playing loud music well past 11pm so it can be hard to sleep. It’s definitely not quiet. I can’t imagine the noise during the busy summer months.we could also hear people walking

If you're staying in Dewey Beach, you'll want to check out the Hotel Dewey. Great location, reasonably priced nicely sized rooms with a kitchenette and balcony, and its own parking lot. There is an elevator (three floors) as well. Locally owned. Anissa, one of the owners, is the absolute best! Very knowledgeable about the area and a delight to talk to!

I'll start with the important things. - It's very clean. Bed sheets are snow white and smell like laundry. The way everything is tucked and folded is beautiful and no dusty carpet. Shower is clean and so is the bathroom. - This hotel is basic in the best kind of way. All necessities are in the room such as soap, shampoo, fridge, towels, microwave, coffee maker, coffee, etc. and a nice balcony. WIFI too with TV, WIFI isn't basic, it's fast. - There is plenty of free parking on hotel property. - The location is amazing, close to everything. - Friendly staff But there is one suggestion I would like to make to the owners reading this/ to future customers (to make stay feel more comfortable): There needs to be a pot or a fry pan or both, because there is an electrical stove but no pans o

This visit was my first time back to Hotel Dewey after a long break. I was pleased with the accommodations. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I thought that the rates were high for off season. I was a little disappointed that there was no longer coffee in the office (I dislike the little in-room coffee maker) nor a discount for breakfast offered, as was in the past at the Sunrise Restaurant.

Good overall experience. Location is excellent. No pool, but on-site parking included. Employees are very nice and helpful. Rooms are nice, but bathrooms need updating. AC is extremely noisy and pillows are terrible. Would rent there again.
