Horizon Inn Motel

Had low expectations that were surprisingly beat! Super friendly staff and welcoming check in area. The whole place smells fantastic and our room was very clean. Comfortable bed, great shower pressure and even had a waffle for breakfast. Would stay again for sure. Great price!

these rooms are NOT as advertised. Dirty. Toilet had a layer of scum on it. Bedsheets had tiny hairs all over them and the bed cover had drip stains on them. gross! unclean.

Positive: Staff was really welcoming and friendly! Negative: Cleanliness could be better, and more room in breakfast room.

Overall, we had a good stay! The staff were all super welcoming and friendly. I'm very happy with the price. The shower was nice and hot. There were lots of little things that I think if fixed would make a huge improvement. For example, food was left in our fridge from the previous person and I also noticed lots of food splatters and things on the walls in the breakfast area behind the machines and near the garbages, all leading me to question cleanliness. The outlet next to the sink in our room was super worn out so the plug wouldnt stay in the wall. The top of the dresser was coming off and was cheaply made so it was warping and nothing would sit on top of it without falling over. I honestly wasn’t expecting much since this isn’t a chain hotel, but I was really surprised in a good way. As soon as I walked in, the place smelled fresh and clean, and the clerk at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. When I got to my room, it was the same story, clean, fresh, and everything looked to be in great shape. The bed was actually just as comfortable as what I’ve had at places like Holiday Inn. Overall, this hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. I’d stay here again without thinking twice.
