Homewood Suites by Hilton St Cloud

We have stayed here several times over the past few years. Nice set up for breakfast, spacious rooms, close to many restaurants, but none are walkable from the hotel. Nice, newer full sized fridge/freezer in the suite’s kitchen area. The carpet is showing its age. We stayed during an extremely cold weekend. Our assigned room had an older heating unit that sounded like a fan bearing was at the end of life. The desk staff changed us to another room that had a newer heating unit that quietly worked to warm the room and not interrupt our sleep.

We only stayed one night but would definitely stay here again. We had a king room suite and were impressed with size of the room. We had two TVs, full kitchen including dishes, dishwasher, stove, full size fridge, sink and microwave. The bedroom had a ceiling fan. The hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast had oatmeal and breads, eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Staff was friendly.

Was told a different price during booking and the rooms HVAC system was loud and squeaked so loud I couldn't sleep. Wasn't given any options for resolution. Just told to deal with it. Will not be booking here again. What a joke. Edit 1: I have stayed at places that cost $39 a night up to $500 a night. The most expensive one, I stayed in when it was -50 outside. No HVAC system made a sound other than the air blasting through the vents. You have one of the more expensive nightly rates in the area. Your only job is to provide a great stay. For what you charge the heaters should operate at a satisfactory level, at a minimum. You told me every single room had a squeaky heater and moving me to a different room wouldn't make a difference. If that's so, maybe get the heaters replaced. You charge

Nice locations, friendly front desk attendant when arriving. Room is spacious with kitchen. Comfy pillows and can't tell you how excited I was for a ceiling fan.
