Holiday Inn & Suites St. Cloud by IHG

We recently stayed here after driving 8 hours, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing from the start. Prior to arrival, I spoke with two separate employees who assured me we could check in anytime after midnight without issue. When we arrived, we were told we had to wait because the hotel was still operating on the previous day’s system, followed by an additional 20–30 minute wait due to a shift change. After a long drive, this was extremely frustrating and could have been avoided with proper communication. At check-in, we were unexpectedly charged a $150 deposit per room. This was never disclosed when confirming our reservation total, so I had only budgeted for the quoted amount. I LOVE staying at this hotel. rooms have been updated, always clean - staff is amazing! always friendly and ready to help. really appreciate the late check out perk for IHG status. renovated lobby and restaurant is very nice....and so is the workout facility. my only complaint is that the Ms Pacman machine is no longer in the arcade - bummer for us old time videogamers! HA

WE REALLY ENJOY THIS PLACE!||Both times we’ve gone, it’s been for our son’s bday and we let him bring a few friends. There are so many activities for them to enjoy!! Basketball (two hoops), a volleyball court/net, a huge open space to throw the football, multiple pools, a large arcade… I don’t know what else they could ask for - honestly!! ||They had so much fun, and a special thanks to Abdi at the front desk!! He helped us out with a few things and he was so friendly and personable and kind. Thank you Abdi for helping make our stay so fun and memorable!

My wife, son, daughter-in-law, grandkids, and I stayed here for a stay-cation. We really enjoyed all the pools and arcade. The pool and arcade area is huge and wasn't crowded. The rooms are nice and we'll kept. Access to the building is a bit of a struggle from the highway. Legends, tge attached restaurant, has really good food.

Decent enough. We stayed overnight for a convention in the hotel. Room was snug, but we weren't in much so that was fine. Their pool areas were nice, but I did notice some bustubs set out to either catch leaks or condensation. Had a bunch of arcade areas with the most generous claw machines I've ever seen(over a dozen items among our group). Large open indoor area that kids were playing ball games and just getting energy out in general. Staff was pleasant, coffee shop in lobby closes at noon, and no free lobby coffee available.
