Homewood Suites by Hilton Lancaster

This is my second fall staying at this location. It is wonderful even under construction! We have attended a weekend basketball tournament and spent the weekend. Our kids have always had a great time in the pool and on the outside basketball courts. They have a very nice out door area complete with tables, chairs, grills and a electric fire pit. We have said we would utilize the two outside barbaque grills but have not yet. Perhaps next year we will!! The country air is the only down side to some city folks that don't appreciate the smell of fresh farm living... fresh cow poop...lol! This is in a large beautiful farming area so the smell of nature is inevitable..lol! You won't be disappointed at this hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean and even the ones not yet renovated are beautiful. I

This was in my reservation: |Please do not spray or add any fragrance to the room . I am extremely sensitive and under medical supervision. Thank you| When I arrived, I asked the desk agent about spraying and fragrance and she said no one read the note. She suggested I go to the room and see if it was OK. The hall had carpeting that was outgassing but I hoped that would not effect the room. The room did not have fragrance so we checked in. |When I went to bed that night I found the sheets and pillowcase had scent so I called the front desk and asked for a change in sheets. They were a bit better but I did have a tough time of it. Changing hotels and driving on a frigid New Year's Eve is mind blowing.The next morning I asked for a follow up. Hotel is very clean and new. They were doing some construction on the 2nd floor but I didn’t hear anything. The showers didn’t have a speck of dirt and the room was spotless. The rooms were nice and spacious. The kitchenette came with every utensil you may need. Overall, amazing experience.

Great hotel! We just came back from staying here for a few days. The room was very clean and a nice size. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. They have eggs, potatoes, mini waffles, breakfast tacos, cereal, yogurt, etc. Definitely the best breakfast I've had at a hotel. We loved the big lobby/dining area, we sat there and played some board games that they have available. On Wednesday nights, they put out soup, salad, snacks, and drinks which was really nice. The staff were all friendly and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed our trip!
