Homewood Suites by Hilton Birmingham-South/Inverness

My family and I LOVE this place! We recently had work done on our home in Birmingham and stayed here. WOW!!! They truly made us feel like family because they are a family. You can tell a lot about a business with how the people respond to and about their leadership. Ivey is the General Manager and sincerely loves and takes care of her people. They are very loyal to her and this hotel. I can't say enough good things about how special they made us feel.

Stayed one night on 10/22/25 for a doctor appointment the following morning. As a Diamond Club member I have stayed at Hilton properties for decades and this was one of the best Homewood Suites. My wife and I were greeted warmly by Markita at the front desk, given a room per a previous request, ate a decent breakfast the following morning, stayed in a clean and well maintained room. Front desk staff the next morning were also wonderful. We will stay here again.

Great safe location, nice rooms and staff. Thr bottom floor was under construction, hence the 4 stars. We were able to get the Air comfortable in our suite, but the halls were I uncomfortable hot. Loved being able to use side entrance with an Elevator right there. Also, love the early check in, digital, key and 2 free waters available via Hilton Honors .

Positive: Newly renovated and very clean. Negative: Gas bbq grills need replaced.

We loved staying here. It was one of our best experiences traveling for a soccer tournament. Location was top notch, close to everything and I love how the hotel is enclosed in trees and moss. It's a beautiful setting. It was impeccably clean and I love the layout of the rooms. We enjoyed having a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator. Breakfast was also wonderful as far as free breakfasts go.
