Homewood Suites by Hilton Albany Crossgates Mall

The hotel lobby and amenities were great. Loved the fitness center and pool area. Breakfast was really good with lots of healthy options. However, the suite accommodations are showing age. The room had a stuffy bad odor. I think it was coming from the carpet which was worn and had some stains. We turned on the ceiling fan which helped a little bit. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was adequate but some of the glasses in cubbard were very dirty. Front desk very friendly and accommodating. The suites could definitely use updating. |Convenient being next to the mall for restaurants.

Hotel was in a great location and easy to access. Looks new but once in the room you can tell it’s not too great maintained. The suite part is nice as the room has some extra space which is convenient. The shower drain wouldn’t drain so I stood in dirty water and the tile job has mold (look at the photos). Front desk staff was very nice and the breakfast buffet was actually really good. I’d recommend the place!

Room was very underwhelming. When we arrived the dishwasher was running. When the dishwasher was finished the plates in there weren’t even clean! The bed was awful. The fitted sheet barely fit the mattress and would come off very easily. The pillows provided very little support. The bathroom’s had spots on the ceiling and the bathroom shower gel was empty. The carpet had stains on it. The room just did not feel clean. The only reason I am giving the hotel more than one star is the breakfast was actually decent and the staff was friendly.

This property is way above 5 stars. the decor is awesome. Pool tables, free coffee and drinks, superb gym with 2 Peloton bikes. Rooms are great size, clean and front desk friendly. Athena went out of the way for 5 minutes just to get me a shower cap and a band aid. The AGM Jamal was also easily accessible. We plan to stay here often and highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. The suite i had was massive. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was awesome. The breakfast was good. The mall is a two minute walk so the location is great. I'll definitely stay here again
