First will start off that the room was set up nicely that included a microwave, refrigerator and a sink.. No issues with the cleanliness. The issue is with housekeeping and the manager Helen. After checking out I was hit with a $250 "smoking fee" which is amusing due to the fact that I did not smoke whatsoever in the room or the bathroom. If a hotel room is smoked in, the nearby rooms and the entire hallway will smell like smoke. If a room is smoked in there would be immediate complaints from other rooms when the first sense of smoke is in the hallways. On top of that I had my 3 month old child with me in the hotel room the entire stay which would indicate to anyone with sense that smoking in the hotel would be diabolical. Located on the commercial side of Thomasville. Modern layout. Rooms were clean but plumbing was not working. Toilets in our room didn’t flush, so we had to use the lobby toilets. We paid $735 for 3 nights and they gave us a $30 reimbursement for not having a toilet. Fairly quiet hotel.. The day staff at front desk was not helpful and very rude. They got angry with us each time the toilet was out of order and would send housekeeping down with a big bucket of hot water to pour in the toilet. We cut our stay short. Upon cancelling our reservation , the manager became irate and made false accusations against us which made us feel unsafe. I would not advise staying there.

The hotel is new in town and has only been open for a few months. I have stayed here a few times. Just in the span of a few months the hotel has deteriorated drastically. The hallway carpet is stained and filthy, the tile floors always look dirty, the shower pans are already overly stained. In addition, they really need to fumigate. However, Staff is actually really nice everytime I have stayed there. If it already looks this bad for only being open 6 or 7 months, I can’t imagine what it will look like in the next year.

New hotel so furniture etc is still nice. Plumbing is messed up throughout the building. We’ve stayed in 2 different rooms. Toilets won’t flush and they gurgle up air, so had to use the lobby toilet most of the time. They said they called the plumber, but they didn’t.The housekeeper brought a plunger and a big bucket of hot water to pour in the toilet a couple times.I felt bad for her. Then, I had to call the front desk to let her know our toilet was out of order again and got yelled at by the desk clerk. She said she had other calls to tend to and that someone in another room had no water pressure to take a shower, I guess implying I should be grateful. I asked for another room and she said they were booked up and I could just cancel my reservation and go somewhere else. The whole town w

Brand new Home2 Suites. It looks like Hilton has put quite a bit of thought into this brand. One of the best low to middle priced hotels out there. Kitchenette, with dishes, huge microwave convection oven, full sized fridge, and a dishwasher! If you had to stay for a week or so, it wouldn't feel like a hotel as much. Also indoor/outdoor lounge, with decent breakfast . This location has a pool and outdoor grilling area! I highly recommend this chain.
