Baymont by Wyndham Thomasville

The check in staff (I believe the name was Joshua?!?) was so very friendly and helpful! Offered dining suggestions and was so friendly and checked us in early. Peaches was our housekeeper and she was so sweet!! She worked hard to get our room ready early. She kept everything clean and fresh! The room was very clean and the bed was wonderful with very fresh, crisp sheets! The location was great! We enjoyed our stay for the Victorian Christmas. Is this a 5 star hotel, no… BUT we would definitely stay again.

The hotel used to be a good one but now is slowly running down. Poor maintenance (shower and bathroom) and no housekeeping unless you stay 3 or more days. Furniture is old fashioned and you can see the “age” on it but let me say the room has what you need, small working fridge, a microwave. Rust is on all lamps and desks. Welcome lady at the reception was very nice and the few employees was friendly. Breakfast just a regular one.

Staff was friendly, rooms were acceptable. Updates definitely necessary. The fixtures were so old Some were rusted -like the bedside lamp. The hairdryer was burned and melted, and the screws were not anchored into the wall! Had to wake up the Desk Agent in order to check out at 6 am. You get what you pay for.

The rooms were clean. The restroom fan didn't work. This is the second time i stayed and no one will give you any towels. Not even for two days.The check in staffs were polite. I even asked for staff to bring some the morning but it didn't happen. But after begging i got 3 facial cloths. The bathroom sink stopper were laying on the sink.

This hotel has been renovated and is very clean and the stay is at and affordable price. No bed bugs and a great place. Previous reviews doesn't reflect the efforts of how well they're trying to keep the hotel in good shape. Even after other ppl come in and tear up the place. I highly recommend this place if looking for an affordable place to stay.
