Courtyard by Marriott Thomasville Downtown

Nice spacious room, the only downside was there was a fridge in the room that only turned on for 2hours max then it goes into sleep mode, and it did not have a freezer. I had to manually push the button every chance I got while I stayed to ensure my food and drinks would stay somewhat cold, and the deadbolt wasnt functioning like it should, wouldn't lock the door but would get the door stuck to where I couldnt get out! But other than those two little issues it was quiet, I set my room temp to 67° and it stayed at the temp I wanted the tv even has a welcoming note on the screen when your there and when your last day it'll say 'bon voyage'! I have stayed here before and the experience was pleasant!

We stayed 2 nights during the Victorian Christmas. It is very convenient to the downtown area. We were able to walk to the event, dinner, and even a grocery store. Our room was on the 3rd floor. It was very quiet and we slept well each night. The staff at the front desk was always pleasant and helpful. Even the housekeepers were pleasant and greeted us with a smile when we would meet in the hallway.

This is such a beautiful hotel! Very clean and neat! However, I’ve been attempting to reserve one of the conference rooms at this hotel but, unfortunately, the process has been quite frustrating. It’s not possible to speak directly with the person responsible for bookings—communication is only handled through email. I initially reached out in early October to reserve a room for an early November date and was informed that the booking manager was on vacation until October 14th. As of today, October 25th, I still have not received a response or any follow-up.

Booked online needing a place for a couple of days to support construction work in GA & FL. What a pleasant surprise! Great rooms, kind, helpful staff. Will stay again if in the area. Thomasville, GA is lucky to have this property...
