Home2 Suites by Hilton Miramar Ft. Lauderdale

I stayed for two nights in October 2025. The exterior looked a bit dated, but the interior was reasonably well-maintained and didn't bother me personally. While other reviewers mentioned cleaning issues, I didn't notice any particular problems in my room. It wasn't spotless, but I think it's adequate for the price. I stayed for a concert at Amerant Bank Arena, and it was convenient, only about a 20-minute drive to the venue. The entrance to the hotel parking lot is a bit tricky to find, but you can get there using Google Maps directions.

Positive: The front desk clerk Negative: The room was musty, the breakfast including the coffee was cold. I had to reheat in my room.

The room was disgusting. I travel a lot for business and stay in mostly Hilton hotels. This was the grossest room I’ve ever had. The bathroom had mold on ceiling, in shower, etc. The dishwasher looks like it hasn’t been wiped down in who knows how long. This property mentioned it was redone but you can see the horrible patch job in the ceiling. There was multiple hairs all over the desk, nightstand and bathroom vanity. Even the bed cover had stains on it, dirty towel in the sink when we walk in and other just pure lack of caring was easily shown. My guess is they just make the bed and do nothing else as how do you let a room get this bad? The front desk staff was very polite though. I emailed management to get this fixed and have yet to hear back. I wouldn’t spend your money at this prop

A very pleasant five-night stay while visiting Fort Lauderdale. Clean room, loved having the kitchen, and the breakfast basics were complemented by great coffee. The staff was welcoming and always made the effort to say good morning.
