Home2 Suites by Hilton Houston Webster

We recently stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton Houston Webster and had a very positive experience overall. Traveling as a family of two adults, two kids, and our dog, we felt very comfortable and well accommodated. From the moment we arrived, the difference in hospitality was clear. As Hilton Honors members, we were welcomed with bottled water and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch after a travel day. The complimentary breakfast was also great quality with good variety, and everything was well stocked and organized. Our room and the overall facility were clean, tidy, and well maintained. Housekeeping and general upkeep were noticeably better than what we have experienced at some other locations. The property felt cared for. We did have a couple of minor issues during our stay. Overall, I had a nice stay here and I'm picky. I was here for a robotics tournament for my son but he stayed with his team in another hotel. I had to work remotely while here so this is the place I chose. I wanted a place with a little kitchen and a workspace. Overall, it was nice and I'd stay here again. I was here for 5 nights. I almost didn't stay here bc I saw someone in a previous review mention cockroaches. There were none at all...believe me I LOOKED.||Good stuff: very nice staff. Clean room with nice big drawers (although hard to close - the slowest of slow close drawers) and a thoughtful layout. I liked that there is a rolling table tucked under one of the two desks that align the wall, so I could pull it out and face the window while working with an L-shaped setup. I also though

Positive: Conveniently located near a variety of recreational sites like NASA space center, numerous parks and outdoor activities. Negative: Breakfast served was not great. Rubbery Bacon, overcooked/undercooked sausage, crescent's were dry and hard.

We only stayed here one night. It was horrible. There was no manager on site. I talked to a woman at the desk the whole time we stayed there. As we walked in, the woman at the desk, said the elevator wasn't working so she gave us a room on the first floor. There were limited rooms on the first floor. She never said the elevator was repaired the whole time we were staying there. When we walked in our hotel room, it smelled funny. The woman at the desk came and sprayed some disinfectant. It didn't help. She never offered another room the whole time we were there. We didn't know there wasn't any hot water until late that night when my husband was in the shower. I stay at this hotel often for work, and even though the property is on the older side, I’ve definitely noticed the improvements they’ve been making lately. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the rooms have become more comfortable with the recent updates. It’s a reliable place to stay, and I appreciate the continued effort to make the guest experience better each time I visit.
