Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham NASA Space Center Houston

This is more of a motel than a hotel. The rooms all face out and it’s in a rather industrial area. They have a second floor but no elevator. Check in is done at a kiosk with a video link to a receptionist who is …..somewhere. I had no issue with that, but it was just a little weird.||There is no continental breakfast, only grab and go donuts, etc. and the pool is closed. ||I asked for a first level room and they gave me one. It was on the same side as the industrial generator for the building next door, meaning a constant noise. This was not helped by the large gap in the door/frame. ||It had a stale smell to it but it generally looked clean. However the shower floor had a orangey stain and I lifted the toilet lid and there were two hairs on it. I thought about going back up and asking for

Stopped here for a quick rest and was very surprised by this motel. It's your standard cheap motel with the landlord special but I was amazed by the cleanliness, comfortably, and service! You check in with a live feed kiosk! Peter was wonderful and welcoming! He even pulled up a map of the hotel layout to guide us to our room. We had a standard king non smoking room. Very spacious, tons of counter space for getting ready, and the bed was super comfortable and plush. A great spot for an affordable, comfortable stay

To be completely transparent, I was hesitant when booking this hotel due to the brand’s reputation as a budget option. However, this location absolutely exceeded my expectations. I was genuinely surprised by how large, clean, and professional the rooms were. The room itself was huge and even included ceiling fans — something I’ve never seen in a hotel room before and absolutely loved. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a tub with jets, which was an unexpected bonus. For the price, this hotel was an excellent value and far better than I anticipated. It has easily become one of my top choices. Another major plus was the location, especially being close to the Houston Space Center — that alone made the stay even better for me. When I checked in there is not a person at the front desk there is just a kiosks. I only saw one person in two days at the hotel and she was the maid. My room was clean but did kill three roaches during my stay. Could not ever get hot water to shower. It had a little warmth to it but not hot at all.
