HOM Hotel Gainesville, SureStay Collection by Best Western

I am so grateful to have been able to stay here for a few days at a great rate!! The staff is great and so very helpful! The rooms were very clean and very peaceful no weirdos hanging out here (except me lol.) Very quiet and able to get some desperately needed rest. They also have breakfast every morning and coffee all night long! Breakfast is nice and fresh with multiple options like waffles, meats&sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, oatmeal, yummy little muffins, bananas, bagels, milk, juice and coffee. Very respectable clientele. I had a great experience and the hotel staff were wonderful with me despite my tragic situation of losing my housing and dragging plastic bags in. They didn’t judge me (out loud lol) and the hotel manager was great and even happy to see me again. I appreciate a

Front desk check-in was excellent. Room was spacious, clean, comfy beds but pillows were hard. Breakfast was great with lots of selections. Only problem was we asked for a room with the walk-in shower and ended up with tub/shower.

Positive: The hotel looks very sparkly and clean. Bed was very comfy. Shower was fantastic and fridge/freezer worked great. Breakfast had hot and cold and was very filling. Especially the sausage and egg biscuits. Stayed here before and will be back in Feb. Negative: ""

Upon arrival the staff and room was good. Day two, housekeeping cleaned the room. Day three they skipped cleaning my room despite there was not a privacy sign hanging. I had to walk downstairs to request a cleaning due to the phone not working. The desk clerk told me they only cleaning rooms every three days desite it being cleaned the other 4 days we were there. Oh yeah, they have roaches. I was present during another customer compliant and saw the Orkin man arrive.

The hotel is pretty nice, and customer service was great. Michael took care of us; he was very friendly and professional. The hotel looks pretty updated. I only had an issue with the shower heads 🚿, which I think they will probably update soon. Breakfast was really good… waffles, eggs, sausage, orange, biscuits, toast, and bagels were available, just to mention some. I recommend this place.
