Holiday Inn Poughkeepsie, an IHG Hotel

Checking in with Reddy was quick and easy. He was very informative and answered all questions we had. Waking up the next morning and getting breakfast was the best. The hostess, Regina, was pleasant and we engaged in friendly chit-chat before I even had my morning coffee! The food was delicious and they had a good variety. Next time I’m in the area I will definitely stay here again!

Positive: They let me check out an hour late. The Tamarind restaurant across the street is very good. Negative: They have the far-right "Epoch Times" newspaper everywhere. Not a fan of supporting fascism in my hotel choices. Also it was literally impossible to get the bartender's attention during a football game when I wanted to order food.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which made for a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. I especially appreciated the modern amenities, like the high-speed Wi-Fi and smart TV, which made relaxing in the room even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s on-site restaurant. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, and everything was fresh and delicious. I also dined there for dinner, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. The food was top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect for unwinding after a busy day

I would like to start off by saying the front desk lady was very polite harmika I think was her name very sweet but unfortunately for the price I payed to stay was not worth it. not only was it OVER 400$ for 2 nights but the bathroom was dirty the first day we got there it had a stench to it and stains on the walls the next day both my brother and I woke up early to get breakfast a guy wouldn’t let us through saying cupain over and over again which I’m guessing he was trying to say coupon he wasn’t polite at all he looked angry and disturb that we were there which I stayed here because I thought breakfast was included was not worth the price I payed for this I will never come back here and I hope anyone who sees this goes to holiday inn express instead of this place not worth your money I’

Service made the stay. Staff was very attentive, responsive and friendly. Regina Chad Reddy and her crew went out of their way to ensure our team had everything they needed. They were real pleasure to have
