Friendly hotel staff, quiet area. The room could use a bit more once over when it comes to dust and so forth probably most disappointing was the parking fee. I don’t understand why there would be a parking fee in the suburbs at a hotel with a large parking lot. There was plenty of space.

The reviews are correct that this hotel only has one elevator toward the rear of the building and that the halls are long. So, if you don't want to walk, ask for a first floor room close to check in.||I, on the other hand, like quiet so I asked for a top floor (second floor) rear facing room. Yes, it was a long hike from the main entrance but completely quiet from road noise. The rear of the hotel faces some woods. Many of the rooms have sliding patio doors and it is nice to be able to get fresh air! To me, a huge plus.||Route 9 is busy but many of the rooms face the rear ( as mine did), many on the sides set back a bit from Route 9 and many are on a courtyard, so I don't think road noise is a real issue. The walls within the hotel are a bit thin and I could hear my neighbor talking

Our stay here was great! The room was cozy and warm, and the shower had amazing water pressure. We accidentally booked through a 3rd party (be careful of dupe websites) where we apparently only ordered breakfast for 1 (we had 4 in our party) and the front desk representative was able to fix that for us. We would absolutely stay again but book through the app. Highly recommend!

Learning Experiences. I know a lot of special places in the world. That is, because I travel a lot with groups from the Netherlands. We visit Mental Health organizations that make a real difference talking about ways of treatment. Poughkeepsie houses one of these magnificent programs. While visiting Steve Miccio and his people, we always stay in this wonderful hotel for a couple of nights. It's cozy, it has the perfect 'home away from home' feeling, breakfast is awesome, the rooms are everything you look for being away from home, the staff is super friendly and helpful. It makes my study travels something people will never forget. I consider this hotel and it's staff part of my Learning Experience Team. While having breakfast at home this morning, my thoughts went back to one of our stays

We stayed for 5 nights and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the great condition of the room. Everything was well maintained and in great shape. The hotel staff was very friendly. We didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities were just what we needed. We had a very nice stay. The breakfast area was closed due to the pandemic, but we've stayed before and this is a great asset to this hotel! We booked our room because of the great breakfast (freshly ordered and cooked eggs on bagels not a buffet or pre-packaged ) Very convenient to have in the lobby.
