The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process quick and easy. It’s clear they take pride in making guests feel comfortable. The rooms were spotless and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable, the linens were fresh, and the entire space felt modern and relaxing. Staff at check in were very friendly and helpful. The king room was huge, however, shower toilet area was very small. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The room overall was not as clean as it could be. The TV remote had crud on it and there was a piece of candy bar on the floor. The main issue was tiny fungus flies that we didn't notice until we went to bed the first night. The next day was worse. As we were getting ready for a family wedding, there was no time to let the front desk know but did stop to tell them on check out. There was no staff at the front desk, no bell to call them, and after waiting a few minutes we left.

The Hampton Inn of Poughkeepsie is top notch! From check in to check out the process was flawless. We stayed new years eve which was a very busy night at this location as they partnered with a local restaurant to provide a discounted rate for the stay and complimentary transportation to and from the venue. Although I was not there for this event I was given the full attention to detail and assurance that my stay would be a pleasurable experience. The staff handled the busy hotel by with patience and professionalism. Upon arriving to my room I couldn't help but notice we were in the culinary institute of America suite. Positive: Nothing staff was very uninviting upon checking in. Negative: Maintenance left my room door open unattended for over 15 minutes. He was very nasty to me. Manager was helpful. Checked out immediately booked another hotel down the street.

Stayed on a top floor suite upgrade on Sunday night. It was pleasant. Spacious, clean room. Hope to be back. I noticed a few things like a wall thermostat issue and a flickering light bulb, staff were responsive to offer relief
