Holiday Inn Lincoln Southwest by IHG

As of March 2026, this hotel is undergoing extensive renovations. THE POOL IS CLOSED. I called ahead to make sure the pool was open because I was bringing my kids for a little overnight trip, the man I spoke to assured me it was (and seemed annoyed that I was even asking). We arrive the next day…pool is closed for “new filters” and has been for some time. No explanation for why the person I spoke to told me it was open. Kids were very disappointed. We made the most of it and snuggled up for a movie night instead. Trying to sign into Netflix, I got stuck in a never ending loop of “agreeing to the terms and services” where the TV would freeze and eventually kick me back to the main screen. I just got off of a 28 minute phone call right before check-in which will probably take a long time to figure out this issue as well, but I was double booked so they charged me twice for two rooms. In the notes, I just said I would like the option for a conjoined room incase someone else was also going to rent a room that I knew . I never ordered two rooms. . I called customer service immediately once my credit card was billed twice… 28 minutes later… 20 of those minutes just on hold - they gave me attitude and an email basically saying… your card has been charged. Here’s an email to a gm … good luck. After this review I’ve now spent 40 minutes dealing with this and I havnt even gotten to check in yet… I also better send an email and see where that goes

Positive: Honestly, nothing. Negative: The problems with my trip are WELL documented. NOTHING was done to compensate me. The manager LIED and said that I was told that there was no restaurant or bar. The bed was horrible. The entire hotel is vile and disgusting! I STILL want my money back!

The property is basically fine, but is in need of some work - some of which would not be overly expensive to do. Like the grime near the bottom of the bathroom door, the mildew in the corners of the shower and stains in the toilet bowl could be solved with a good scrubbing with bleach. The carpeting in the halls and lobby look really old - perhaps a deep shampooing would help, new carpet would make it feel much fresher. Some of the furniture in both the room and common areas have chips or tears in the upholstery - repairing or replacing these would help a lot. There was a floor lamp in my room that was clearly broken or loose from the base, and the TV was very dated. Also...not a single USB port anywhere in the room, and the AC outlets on the bedside lamps cannot accommodate an Apple compu

We have stayed here multiple times and really appreciate this hotel. Great service. Clean. Nice rooms. Great breakfast. On one trip my daughter left her backpack full of clothes. They mailed it to us. We will continue to make this hotel a stop on our frequent road trips.
