Holiday Inn Fredericksburg Conference Ctr by IHG

Room was super nice but they gave me a room with a door to a connected adjacent room (separated by a locked door) and I could hear EVERYTHING. Even a phone buzzing and a person yawning. Felt like I had no privacy and got woken up several times. Ridiculous!

The best thing I can say about this place is that it's reasonably quiet. We checked in Friday night. Sink drain was spilling straight onto the floor. I used a bath towel to dry up the floor, put a trash can under it and thought we're report it Saturday morning...which we did. Instead of fixing it, they moved us to another room...so we had to pack up and move. The new room smells like bad feet. The "heated" pool isn't. The fitness room is closed for an unknown reason. But we're checking out in the morning, so there's that.

This hotel has a bar/restaurant. Booked it for ease after a long day driving. Bar lights and TV on but no one working. Asked the desk clerk and she told us "she's in the back" after we sat at the bar for 15 min. We went back to the bar 1 1/2 hours later and its still not staffed. I asked again and was told "she's on her way, she's stuck in traffic " . The least you can do for customers is BE HONEST. We are not stupid. And if you don't have staff, don't pretend to open the bar/restaurant. So disappointing for a brand we are loyal to.

We had a great experience from the start. Both front desk staff members were so nice, professional, and accommodating. We loved the fruit infused water available all day, as well as the coffee in the morning. The pool and gym were great too. The equipment was state of the art. Our room was very clean and once I hit the bed to relax, I did not want to move. It was very very comfortable. In fact, I said to my husband, I want to order these pillows and blanket for home, lol. We also enjoyed a late check out as rewards members, which was a huge bonus for us. Thanks for a wonderful experience. We can't wait to return.

With that experience in mind, based on my experience I can confidently say the Holiday Inn Fredericksburg Conference Center by IHG goes above and beyond. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and polished everything was. Honestly, it felt more like a luxury hotel than a typical 3-star property. The rooms were spotless, the bathroom area was well-designed and fresh, and everything was fully stocked and thoughtfully arranged. What really stood out to me was the use of Dove body wash and lotion in the bathroom—products I actually use at home. That level of quality and consideration doesn’t go unnoticed. Highly recomm
