Holiday Inn Express & Suites Valdosta West - Mall Area by IHG

Clean and spacious double queen suite! I have to give a shout out to Tasha and April who worked the breakfast bar. For someone who has stayed at tons of Holiday Inns across the nation, the breakfast room/bar in Valdosta showed me there are people left in this world who care about the job they do! It was clean and tidy; all the food was hot and cooked properly. The bacon was crisp and hot, the biscuits were golden with a little bit of crisp on top, the sausage gravy was perfect, and the eggs were excellent. Tasha was attentive to the guests and went out of her way to get a booster seat for a mom and her child. Overall, I saw staff that took pride in their work. Big props to Valdosta West Holiday Inn, I'll stay here again!

This Holiday Inn Express was so nice! The beds were incredibly comfortable and so were the pillows. Our room was very clean and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast the next morning. All of the staff were very hospitable and professional. I can’t say enough good things about this experience. We will come back and stay again!

I've stayed in many HIE over the years and this is my favorite! We live in FL. and have many relatives up north. Over the years, we've started splitting up the drive time and this is on our way home. It had a walk in shower with extra towels, the room was very large, the breakfast was excellent! The bed was very comfortable! It was exceptionally clean! The 24 hrs coffee was right out of our door and the ice machine was convenient as well! We enjoyed everything about this HIE! Plenty of handicap parking right out the door! We'll definitely make this our stop on the way back, again!

We stayed here for Special Olympics games last week, 17/ 18 October. The rooms are a little small, but clean and the beds were great! The real heros are the staff. They were wonderful with our athletes. Kind, generous and warm to each one. These ladies are awesome! We had breakfast in the morning. They offered fresh fruit to everyone as they left. We will be back!

While the hotel is clean and well-appointed, highway noise is a big issue. The best way to handle is to request a room opposite the highway. I was informed that all the suite rooms are located on the highway side. That makes no sense to me because quiet is very important to many guests. I did appreciate the happy hour at the Comfort Suites hotel since the same firm owns both. The bed was very comfortable which was great. Thankfully, I travel with earplugs but they did not remove all the noise from the nearby traffic.
