Holiday Inn Express & Suites Urbandale Des Moines by IHG

Enjoyed my stay overall. The morning front desk staff definitely made it exceptional. Daisy made my morning every morning with her outgoing personality and always a cheerful morning start. I appreciate that so much. Jennifer was amazing with her hard work in getting my wifi back up and working after not having it the first few nights. While very busy with everything going on, she made sure she made me feel important and cared for me about my stay and experience. Night staff didn’t seem too interested or welcoming, but day time staff brought my experience way up. All of my towels were shredded at the ends so definitely need to replace those. Breakfast was okay, but nice to have. Enjoyed my room overall and tv service

Very nice hotel, clean room, good breakfast, and the best part was the coffee machine, which made GREAT coffee. Housekeeping staff and front desk staff were all very nice. No issues with the hotel whatsoever, plenty of convenient parking, easy location for getting in and out. Thanks for making my overnight stay in the Des Moines area very pleasant.

We had a delightful time at this hotel. We always choose Holiday Inn Expresses for the value, cleanliness, and my daughter LOVES the pancake printers. We live in the area, but stay at a hotel a few times a year as a special family swimming excursion. So, the pool is a BIG deal for us, and is the entire point of the stay. We had a blast in the pool the first night, and the breakfast was great in the morning. However, when we went to go swimming again before checking out, the pool was down (a kid threw up in it the night before after we left). Thankfully for us, Margaret at the front desk had us covered! She let us know that we were able to go next door to the Hampton Inn (as it's owned by the same group) and she saved our daughter's broken little heart. Margaret was kind, attentive, and gav

We were in town at apparently a very busy time, but you would never know that from the way staff treated us. Felt like we were the only ones staying there as they were so friendly and attentive. Took time to greet, answer questions and chat. Were efficient and friendly. The room was so clean and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. Very quiet, particularly when it came time to sleep. The breakfast and breakfast room were perfect. Lots of seating which made having breakfast feel leisurely. There were lots of choices and the food was great.

Stayed in the hotel for two nights and loved the place. The room is very clean with ample space. There’s no strange smell anywhere in the hallway or the room. Classic breakfast is included and well prepared. People working there are friendly. Only complaint is the height of the furnitures. I am 5’7 and a little bit awkward when using the restroom sink or kitchen tables(a little bit higher). Will stay here again if visit the city in the future.
