Hampton Inn & Suites Des Moines/Urbandale

This is my third time staying at this property, and the reason I keep coming back is simple: Jesse and Sahara. Sahara always greets me with, “Welcome back, Jessica. So glad to see you,” and the fact that she knows my name means more than she probably realizes. When you’re traveling for work and pulling 12-hour shifts, those little moments matter. I leave early in the morning and don’t get back until late at night, and without fail, Jesse is standing at the front desk when I walk in. He grabs a bottle of water, smiles, and says, “Welcome back, Jessica. I hope you had a great day at work.” That kind of consistency, kindness, and genuine care is rare. Positive: It was quiet, air conditioning worked great, room was large. Negative: There were some guests that made it quite annoying but that's not on the hotel. Door did not shut to bathroom.

We stayed here overnight enroute to visit our son in Denver. Hampton Inn and Suites is our go to… no guesses as to what you will get. Consistently great quality and service. We had a king suite. Room was clean and neat. Staff were very friendly.

My bad! I originally--and inadvertantly--posted this as a one-star, which is the rating I reserve for scammers and hostiles. Hampton Inn Urbandale is a blessing to travelers and a five-star bunch all the way. Possibly the nicest "economy" motel I've ever visited. Booked directly with Hilton and saved $50 per night vs. Priceline and other sneaky middlemen. Front desk staff was accommodating. Fresh, hot, free coffee was available 24/7. Even decaf! King suite at $120/night was immaculate and spacious. Housekeeping was on the ball, and they gave us two free bottles of water each day (upon request). I said, "¿Puedo tengo dos aguas? They said, "Si." I said, "Gracias." Literally, I think I asked, "Can I I have two waters?" My Spanish is awful, but it' was good enough to get water. The br

We had the best experience with hampton hotel, everything was perfect from the first moment. The room was super clean and the customer service was phenomenal, their breakfast was fresh, warm and delicious, and everything we asked for we got it with no delay, also the receptionists on the front desk were so friendly especially Jessie. Definitely we will visit again soon.
