Extended Stay America Select Suites- Des Moines - Urbandale

I love this place. Staff is great. The room! Had to get new spicket for shower,it was broke couldn't take a bath. Phone had broken cord, room was kinda clean, under the bed was horrible. Floor had sticky spots. After 14 days had to request new sheets and blankets. I think $336.40 is a little much for the room, I clean it had to request maintenance to fix issues with room, $1.75 for clean towels???!. And have to rent dishes???. And room only gets cleaned every 14 days of stay. I think that the rooms should be cheeper, especially if I'm going to be staying 2 to 3 months.

So I've stayed multiple times when I've had business in Des. Moines, my recent dependent experience with management staff.||Overwhelming disgusting, rude.||And very inappropriate. I'm being a single woman in a large city. It always made me feel comfortable when I stayed at an extended stay.||This was my worst experience, and I'll never stay here again. And I will let everyone know. The general manager is inappropriate and things. Taste all good, it's okay to be inappropriate. And what inappropriately touch, just a woman, if my husband was there, he would have probably smacked them. I didn't call the police because I just wanted to get out of there. I ended up leaving. Positive: Nothing Negative: Room smelled really bad, windows open you could clearly here all traffic from expressway, carpet nasty, sink stopped up, called maintenance never came. What a nasty uncomfortable stay. My money should be returned to me immediately!

Location is close to the highway. Which is amazing at getting you around. The Staff are so sweet and welcoming. Maintenence is fast. Grounds are always clean. I hardly need help, but when i do they are responsive and kind

Very disappointed with the customer service and management at this hotel. I was supposed to be coming from 3 hours away for work, and there’s a HUGE snowstorm. Most hotels or any human with compassion would allow for a cancellation. Nope… not this place! Instead, they would rather me drive through a storm and “abide by their policy”. At some point, human lives should come before greed… and this is one of them. Shame on this hotel.
