Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa-Anderson Rd/Veterans Exp by IHG

Hadn't stayed at a Holiday Inn in years, but was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. Also enjoyed the cinnamon rolls for breakfast and the dove products in the shower/bathroom area. TV was not working well, dark and blue so hard to see, but to be fair I didn't have a chance to ask them to fix or replace as I wasn't at the hotel except for late in the day. Elevator wasn't working most of the stay and other one didn't sound good so had to use the stairs. The worst part was that the couch in the room was absolutely disgusting. Covered in various material/stains everywhere! I kept covering it with towels so I could sit on it but the maid would uncover and never do anything about the dirty spots. The hotel was decent overall but quite outdated — the rooms and furniture could really use an upgrade. It was also a bit noisy at times due to planes passing nearby. On the positive side, the breakfast was good with plenty of options, and the staff were friendly. With some renovations and better soundproofing, it could be a much nicer stay.

Always an amazing experience, the rooms are clean enough to eat the complimentary gourmet breakfast off the floor. It's right next to the veterans expressway, so you can make a quick jump on your excursion if you're in a hurry. 15 minutes from the airport. About 30 minutes from downtown. |Lots of restaurants nearby that deliver right to the room, or that are within walking distance. |For the amount you pay, the convenience and amenities far outweigh it. The ambiance is exactly like what is shown in the pictures. Nice and quiet and clean.

My family stayed in this hotel for a cheer competition with my daughter. The hotel was clean, breakfast was extensive and beds were comfy. One day my daughter lost her cheer bow. The staff helped us search the lobby and pool area for it. They asked about the competition every day and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel. We travel a lot and the staff here is top notch.

I needed a quiet clean place to rest after a long drive and both stays were perfect. Daniel was the most friendly and helpful; after telling him what I needed he expertly provided the perfect accommodations. With his advice I then became a member so my next stay was discounted. Great deal.
