Holiday Inn Express & Suites Omaha - 120th and Maple an IHG Hotel

King room on the top floor was very clean and quiet. The room stayed very dark with blackout blinds. Plenty of hot water and the typical Dove toiletries. The workout room was small but adequate. The breakfast was pretty good with the typical Holiday Inn Express items. This hotel is far enough away from the highway that there is no truck noise keeping you awake. Note that due to new construction of a big building next door, the hotel cannot be seen when approaching from the north. Also the pool is closed for refurbishment so call ahead to check if a pool is important to you. We would stay again.

Not my usual experience for a Holiday Inn. They are not very welcoming with their signs that are posted at the front desk. Some of the staff were fairly rude and took us by suprise. My son's first room was filthy and I don't mean just dusty. It smelled of sour milk and everything was dirty. We had to have them switch rooms after they cleaned their own room but it still smelled. No compensation was offered to them for their trouble. The beds were not very comfortable and only 2 towels were given for 3 adults for 2 days? Attention to detail is lacking significantly in all aspects. A smile and a warm welcome would be nice! A wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. The staff was friendly, the room was cozy, and the location was perfect. I would happily stay here again.

Positive: Breakfast Negative: Some power and USB ports didn’t work. 2nd floor ice machine out of order. I specifically reserved the hotel for the pool for my daughter and it was closed for maintenance. Manager offered points to my IGH rewards account, but don’t see it.

Upon checking into our room after a long day of travel, we were informed by the front desk staff that our reservation had been canceled at 4:00 PM for no reason, despite our prior payment for the weekend stay. After stating the hotel was not busy (and now we know why) we were assigned a room, but upon checking in, we discovered substandard conditions. The room was littered with trash on the floor, black hair was covering the bathroom floor, vomit and/or feces were present on the toilet, the lamp was so dusty people had written in it, and food was found on the wall. The TV did not work and would only show “No Signal” despite the attempts to troubleshoot the issue.
