Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lincoln Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Room was clean and comfortable however it is so noisy with street traffic. I knew we were in trouble when our room came with ear plugs. Breakfast was standard but good. Lobby was clean. Great location to Haymarket. Parking is not free. They charge $20-30 depending on if there is an event and a $5 environmental fee.

The front desk help was a sweet and happy gal. She showed great customer service upon check-in. All employees we encountered were extremely pleasant and very helpful. We liked the ease and security of onsite parking in the underground garage. The hotel itself was clean and presentable. Unfortunately, we were less than impressed with our room. Our room did not have the comforting clean smell you expect when you open the door. Instead, our room smelled of musty sewage, the bathroom was not fully restocked of towels, and the countertops/nightstands had stuff smeared all over them like they had not been cleaned recently. We were exhausted from traveling and had a very early morning the next day so we did not request a new room. Eventually, the sewage smell disappeared or we just got used to it

Olivia at the front desk was the kindest most helpful worker I have ever met at a hotel. She aided us with our door dash order and was looking out for us as two girls traveling alone. We felt so comfortable and safe with her. She deserves a promotion because she was truly wonderful. We have stayed here many times and have loved it, but Olivia made our experience most memorable.

Exactly what a hotel is supposed to be! Everything was so ordinary and "as expected" that absolutely nothing stood out to cause the least bit of discomfort or concern, which of course equates to a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean, the lobby and exterior of the hotel were inviting and the breakfast area was clean with quite a few breakfast options. Hotel staff very pleasant and hard-working. This hotel is downtown within walking distance to campus, Haymarket, the Newman Center, the Capitol and the basketball arena. Of course you would need to be wearing good walking shoes and be careful with the fast pace of downtown Lincoln traffic. We were thankful for the safe parking garage which can only be entered if you go through the hotel or with your room key. The Graduate Hotel park

We stayed here for the Good Life Halfsy on 11/09. The staff went out of the way to accommodate for the race. A special thank you to the person working around ~5:30am who was kind enough to toast my bread since the breakfast nook wouldn’t open until ~7am and another special thank you to the team for allowing the runners snag a late check out so we could shower and warm back up after a very breezy run! Would most definitely stay here again after the great service. The accommodations were clean & location walking distance from the haymarket area and pinnacle arena (and the Good Life finish line)!
