Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas NW Hwy - Love Field by IHG

Feeling (made us feeling) very cheap to be staying here. I just checked into this hotel (Holiday inn Express at Love Field Dallas) and had the worst experience from the front desk personnel. We were treated very poorly by the front desk staff, Ana, and was asked to take our own bedding to our room upon check-in. I don't remember at any IHG hotels I stayed previously had the standard of asking guest to carry our own bedding while check in. We thought true customer service and IHG standard means making sure your guest has a good stay and the room is ready for the guest when we arrive. Ana, the check-in assistant at the front desk basically threw the bedding on the floor for us to take it upstairs. This is how some low quality Motel's standard. Is this new norm at IHG hotels? Located just right for travels around Dallas and vicinity. Hotel was great looking at first and clean. Upon entry I was greeted by the receptionist (Mixtly), she was very bubbly and helpful, ensuring the customer was getting settled in. She ensured all was well and during my stay was very helpful. Now here's some receptionist skills you would like to see, her style/type at all the IHG's. Even the evening receptionist was a pleasure to talk to. Great team working here. The hotel has all the amenities you could need, pool, gym and a great breakfast. Plenty of parking was available and is kid friendly. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. I had no complaints about this IHG. Yes, I would stay again. Recommend this place. In town for a Korean Concert and Medal of Honor museum.

As a mom traveling solo with a child, we felt completely safe at this hotel. It's in a busy area (restaurants and sports bars in the same general area,) but was well lit and exterior doors were locked. I was told they had security patrolling the parking lot, and we had no problems at all. The room was very clean and the AC worked fine. I like the fact that they offer free parking and free breakfast. The price of the room was very reasonable, and it was right at I-35E and highway 12. It was easy to get there from I-35, and it was just minutes from downtown.

stayed here with my dad and just want to start by saying this hotel is very clean, smells wonderful, and the staff was incredibly kind. My father is in a wheelchair, and when we went to eat breakfast this morning, one of the employees saw me struggling to carry both plates and immediately came over to help me. That small act of kindness meant so much to us and truly made our stay even better. I also forgot to pack my toothbrush and toothpaste, and they had complimentary items available, which was such a relief and very appreciated.

Let me start by saying the staff at this hotel provided excellent service. All staff members treated us great with a friendly attitude. The rooms are average, and about what you’d expect for this level of hotel. The area around this hotel, however, left us a little unsettled. Our first night of four night stay featured a deafening engine roar drag race at 3:00am. The next evening, we ate at Boomer Jack’s Grill, and were treated to an impromptu car/motorcycle show featuring approximately 200 Honda civics with park benches attached to the trunk and street bikes roaring up and down the parkway. The Dallas PD showed up in force and began ticketing and arresting the racers as they fled in mass, quite the show.
