Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas Ft. Worth Airport South by IHG

When the Holiday Inn Express Irving North canceled my prepaid reservation when I "didn't arrive by 3 PM "(what?) or "a customer called to cancel the reservation" (this would have been while I was flying into DFW?), the HI Express Irving South came through in a big way! Once I booked while waiting to deplane, we called to double check (because of the other automatic? cancelation), they seemed surprised since we booked it on the app. The front desk was professional in all interactions. The shuttle arrived earlier then promised. We were brought safely to th he hotel and immediately offered a late checkout and shuttle back to DFW at 2PM. Great communication and customer service!! Booked from India looking at the reviews. Had a bit of speculation of how the hotel would be. But from picking up at the airport, everything went seamless. Staff were friendly. The breakfast is something so enjoyable, especially the spread. Real Value for money . It is a safe environment situated in an excellent location with Walmart and other shopping within 5 minutes drive. The room had everything we needed. The taxi service that’s on call is so helpful for people visiting new. The hotel lets you order your lunch or dinner from outside. They have the option of frozen pizza and many other stuff that you can buy from the reception and heat in the microwave. The room had a nice view, air conditioning and beautiful ambience. This place is everything previous reviews say it is. The atmosphere is calm, inviting and cozy. My check in was expedient and without incident. My room, which was 510, was exquisitely clean and relaxing. The shower was in the top five of any I have ever used in power and longevity of temperature balance. Breakfast was delicious, and abundantly stocked. Great care is definitely taken in the upkeep of all it's esthetics and creature comforts. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our checkin was late due to having a flight cancellation. Reservation process was easy. Shuttle was timely and appreciated but dirty on the inside. The hotel is dated, especially the carpets-dull and felt dirty. Room was large. Bed was comfortable.

Missed my flight by 5 minutes due to holiday travel and long lines through TSA. Got a voucher to stay and the hotel made the trip better. Clean rooms, breakfast, and even when you call to get the ride they will pick you up and arrange to have a van take you back. Nice stay and good and friendly service from the staff
