Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin NW - Lakeline by IHG

My husband and I are just about to check out, but before we leave, I must PRAISE the staff for an amazing stay! What a deal for the money! Josh welcomed us and checked us in with a warm and friendly greeting. He made us feel comfortable and safe! We stayed in room 302 and it was so clean, so fresh, and smelled so nice. In fact, even the hallways were fresh smelling and clean! Our room and bathroom were SPOTLESS! I couldn’t believe the attention to detail. Truly- this is the CLEANEST hotel I’ve ever stayed in! In the morning, they had a beautiful breakfast spread and offering. Lots of delicious and fresh food! I’m gluten free and still found plenty to eat with a wonderful variety. I noticed the coffee machine was not working, and Michael (a friendly and helpful staff worker) jumped right in

This place is pretty old and starting to look run down. I stayed in a 2-queen room and the outlets in the bathroom didn't work. The only good thing about this Holiday Inn is that they have a suite with 2 separate rooms in it and 2 separate TV's so It's great for a family of 3 or more. Parents and kids can have their own room. Also, it's in a great location as in directly across the street from a mall.

This hotel met many of the expectations required to make it a suitable hotel for me and my family. Pros: Provided 5 full 240 ML bottles: Body Lotion, Body Wash, Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hand Wash It was incredibly spacious! There was an entire living room next to the two beds with a wall between the beds and the living room and a rectangular table to eat. The couch in the living room was a pull-up bed. The room window was very big providing an abundance of natural light. There were also 2 layers of blinds on that window in case there was no need of the light. There was a good and sizeable work table with two outlets. There was one chair with a table near the corner to relax. Then there was a rolling chair for the work table. Solo trip three nights. The manager, Marlene, and her staff were very kind, helpful, and professional. They made an effort to give me my member' points and suggested to book directly from IHG in the future. The room on the 3rd floor was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Housekeeping is upon request of tough can just ask for what you need, and they would accommodate it. They featured a members social event Monday- Wednesday with food and drinks, but I was not in the hotel at 6pm. The location was central enough that I could get around all of Austin while avoiding major highways with a 20-30 minute drive in any direction.

This establishment is pretty much like all the rest. You will find good moments and if you look real hard you will find all the flaws. I can tell you with most it starts with the people who own the establishment. Yes you can blame housekeeping for gummies on the floor or whenever there is dust on the walls, but when you find rust on light fixtures and mold in the tub that's called maintenance and I don't mean on site maintenance most recognized establishments like this one have backers to fund the maintenance on the premises and renovate when needed. So with this said I gave them this score so the ceo's would realize it's a team effort if you want people to rave over your establishment give them something to rave over. And the service is as high as one can give when you barely came e
