Holiday Inn Express & Suites Albany by IHG

This hotel was a really good stay. When we first walked in, it smelled good and looked clean. The young lady at the front desk Ms.Seliyah was so sweet and professional, she has amazing customer service skills. The elevators were nice,the floor we were on was clean.When we walked into our room we were very pleased, the room was clean,neat and smelled good,I could breathe thank goodness. The beds were very comfortable I didn't want to get up lol The next morning when we went down for breakfast there was a good selection of food and beverages. It was clean and well organized. The sitting area was nice and one of the best we've ever seen. I also loved the couch sitting in front of the t.v. This hotel was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We went to the hotel without a reservation. The girl at the front desk took all of our information and entered my IHG rewards information. We inquired about a restaurant and she said gave us several options and offered to pick food up for us because we did not have a car. We took her up on her offer. The hotel room was clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was provided in the morning which was ok. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Albany Georgia.

As an Albany State University alum, I frequently visit Albany, and the Holiday Inn Express is always my top choice for accommodations. My most recent stay was for a solemn occasion—a funeral—and I recommended this hotel to my friends. From the very first interaction, the level of care and professionalism stood out. When speaking with the hotel manager, Ms. Linda, she immediately expressed her condolences before discussing any details. I’ve stayed here off and on for work for the past year. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to stay. The staff are always friendly and make me feel at home. The ladies who cook breakfast do a wonderful job and are always there if you need anything. The rooms are always nice and clean. Mrs Linda checks on us regularly to make sure that we have everything we need, and even Mrs. Lillian (who just started recently) does a fantastic job.

The rooms were okay. You can tell they needed some extra cleaning. We needed extra bed sheets for our pull out couch. The had big stains on them. Didn't use them. Also one of the wash rags had a huge stain. The couch was dirty. We got itchy from the bed sheets and couldn't hardly sleep. I turned in the dirty linens to the front desk. Breakfast was free and good and hot. The staff was nice. Just think housekeeping needs to do better.
