Holiday Inn Express Edgewood-Aberdeen-Bel Air by IHG

I stayed here one night on December 2025. This hotel had clean rooms at an excellent price. Unfortunately the air conditioner in my room was very loud and made it difficult to sleep, especially since it ran almost constantly. Staff was very friendly at least, and the included breakfast was pretty good. Given there's better hotels in the area, I'm not sure this would be my first choice if I'm nearby again.

The price was reasonable, and I appreciated the free parking and complimentary breakfast, which made the experience even more convenient and budget-friendly. The staff were courteous, and the room was clean and comfortable. One area that could use improvement is the fitness room. While it's great that the hotel offers one, it could benefit from additional equipment and at least one mirror to make workouts more functional and enjoyable

I cannot say enough GOOD about this hotel! The staff was beyond friendly, the rooms were so clean and smelled great! Even the breakfast lady was so considerate in making sure we had time to get all we wanted before she closed down. We will definitely be back! I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!

Friendly, helpful, and accommodating the moment we walked thru the door. Even with nearby highway construction, it was quiet inside. Breakfast choices were good, excellent coffee. If you’ve driven for 6 hours, walking next door to Island Spice for a good drink and fresh, prepared when you order food was fantastic! Take out available if you want to sit in the hotel dining area or your room.

What a horrible experience. My son is a 19-year-old dancer who arrived in Maryland after midnight for a rehearsal the next morning. The company he works for reserved a room for him at this hotel. The reservation was made in the company manager’s name and included my son’s name. When he tried to check in, he was declined because of his age. Fine, if that’s your policy. But it gets worse. It was now around 1:30 am. He was in an unfamiliar town, alone, with nowhere to go and no one from the dance company available to help at that hour. Instead of showing even the slightest compassion, the front desk not only refused to check him in, they told him he wasn’t even allowed to sit in the lobby. So there’s a teenager, far from home, stranded in the middle of the night, and this hotel’s response
