Americas Best Value Inn Edgewood

I write this review with an open mind and price considered....you cant buy a used Ford and expect it to look and perform like a New Bentley...its ridiculous. So with that said...you can't pay $60 sometimes less and expect a concierge, indoor spa and Jacuzzi with black tie room service. So, This is what you get here at America's Best. The staff is Top notch, friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping work very hard and have to clean behind humans and animals because this place which is rare is very animal friendly. Some things are unexpected and out of staffs control such as the items that customers bring into the rooms that may cause a roach issue in some not all rooms..So a little constructive criticism would be for management to continue the extermination maybe more aggressively. Positive: location Negative: advertised as "breakfast included" which turned out to be a granola bar and coffee!' Although it was clean and the bed comfortable, the room itself was "tired."

Great but I wish it was closer to the city

The room was dirty but not too dirty or so I thought. I saw a roach in the bathroom and the mattress had black mold on it the room was not cleaned very well before I came in at all the sheets had burn holes in them as well. I had to put a 100 dollar deposit down for my dogs (they stayed in a cage while I was gone) and then only gave me 25 back because they had to sweep the floor of dog hair. 75 dollars to sweep up dog hair. The best part of staying there was somone was cooking a turkey in the trash can in the parking lot. Can’t figure out how to post pictures but will update if I figure it out

While the rooms are decent, the Wi-Fi is almost non existent. You can barely surf the web. My son ran a speed test and it wouldn't even run it. They restrict most YouTube discord and gaming sites. My son's use my phone hotspot for Wi-Fi. Also hardly any outlets in the rooms, most of them are taken by the microwave fridge and heater/ac unit. My first stay I had a table with chairs asked the front desk clerk for the same set up not only did he luck the for on me as I approached it and waved me to the night window(at 510pm), he never responded to my request and no I didn't get a table.
