A very nice gentleman I stayed here many many many many many many many years before and it gets me out of the boardwalk area gentlemen heard what happened to me downtown and give me a ride all the way into Capitola to the Department of rehab what other people do I have meetings with I was worried I forgot what type of meeting it was a phone meeting unfortunately the Yellow Cab nowadays when I call from this area they couldn't understand language barrier and the dispatch does dispatch play Yellow Cab is in Salinas the cab will be there in 45 to 15 minutes thank you very much he told me to check out the Hitching Post I was going I forgot about this great place it's the one I stayed in before

Spacious rooms with a giant kitchen and eating area separated with a door. Reminds me of an apartment from my younger days. I travel for business a lot and am spoiled from nice hotels so it's a dicey gamble when I decide to book a cheap one. We were prepared to leave if it was terrible. For the price we were worried. It was great! They could definitely charge more. There was a little visible wear, like paint bubbles or a cracked tile, but the place was super clean, bathroom was nice. I had no complaints. It was better than I expected for the price. Having the full kitchen to make drinks and snacks in was a bonus. I've stayed here twice now and won't hesitate to again. By the way, no issues with homeless. Some locations in Santa Cruz struggle with that but I didn't see any issues here. Easy

Danny the manager is a great guy. Maids amazing. Rooms are even better. Best place in Santa Cruz.....and I'm local born and bred. This is your spot.
