Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront

First I want to note that Jarrett and his team was beyond helpful at the front desk. Checking in was a breeze after a long stressful day and Jarrett gave top tier customer service. However, this property is entirely too outdated for the prices that they charge, which isn’t the staffs fault. I am not a hotel snob nor do I need a pristine stay, but Hilton could really benefit from investing into this property even just a little bit. But anyways- I guess my only real complaint is that they use the triple sheet method for their beds. Personally, Not. A. Fan. But, if you need a convenient hotel near the airport, it does the job! I have been here many times for pleasure and business (indeed had an event here) and am a Diamond member, but you would never know it from the front desk service. The best things about this place are #1 location, #2 the views (if you have a good room), and the staff in the breakfast room and the bar (kudos to Oscar). Housekeeping also is reliable. Hotel has become "cheaper" (breakfast , not cheap, no longer offers omelets or eggs cooked to order and the breakfast buffet used to offer smoked salmon, but that has disappeared). This hotel is big and has big groups so it can be noisy and the bar/breakfast room crowded. Parking is way too expensive. Still, it is a decent Hilton choice in the area.

Liked the proximity to the waterfront and airport. Free Airport shuttles every 30min which is a great convenience. Very good value for money given the size and comfort of the room

Well I stay about 100 nights a year at Hilton, this stay was actually bought by United Airlines. They also gave us meal vouchers. The issue I have is the accounting I think is handled by Eric Moreno, he just won’t get back to you. I want to see the charges that I was billed. Not sure if he is incompetent or just lazy. I’ll know for next time not to book the Hilton option when United gives me a choice. We figured to have a good meal for dinner pretty bland and nothing special. I ordered the pizza which I was made aware is made offsite. So kind of like a really bad digorno pizza. My wife got the pork chop that was pretty good and my son got the salmon. The rooms had double beds which is new to me. Very small and hard to get comfortable. At this point the Hotel needs a major remodel!

I was very disappointed with our stay at this Hilton. Our room was very dated. Bathroom was not clean, bath tub was dirty and needs to be replaced. Bed linens also appeared to be dirty. Just wasn't comfortable at all! My husband and I only stayed there for the convenience of being close to the Airport for an early morning flight. Would not recommend staying at this hotel.
