Hampton Inn & Suites San Francisco-Burlingame-Airport South

Be careful! This hotel is very scammy and has zero interest in helping guests, they’re only here to squeeze a few extra dollars out of you. I booked a reservation 4 months out in advance for one night by the airport. The next day I wanted to make a change to my reservation (mind you I paid extra for trip insurance) I was told i can’t do it and would have to pay the full amount - no refunds. They scammed me out of $150.. don’t let them get you too. I’m going back to the Hyatt regency, much better value. Stay away from thieves.

This was supposed to be one night on the way to trip to Northern California and another on the way back and we canceled our second night a week later. The elevator was not working when we checked in or out and there was frankly zero apology. They were going to put us on the fourth floor and have us carry luggage and bags up and there’s no way we could physically do that. The front desk clerk did it up but we had to in way out. I understand things happen but there was no sign in the lobby snd no apology. The room seemed relatively clean, but the bedding needed to be replaced. Just disappointed as we have done these one-day trips on each end before and thus just not acceptable.

This is an older hotel, but the rooms in bed are very comfortable, and the breakfast stands above other hotels that we have stayed at. The shuttle was reliable, and got us to the airport when it said. All in all, a very good option to stay if you’re at San Francisco airport.

I was in town for a work event and needed to fly out very early in the morning. My colleague dropped me off in the evening, and it was smooth sailing all the way. Check-in was very easy, and the room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and safe. I caught the 4:55 am shuttle, which was exactly on time, and made my way to the airport. I would definitely stay here again!

Positive: "" Negative: I HATED the HUGE charge to park. Most ridiculous charge EVER!!! And no warning of this stupid LARGE charge! I will not be staying there again! Ever! I will look for any place without this fee. *Ridiculous! Yes, I can afford it, but dont like scams
