DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Francisco Airport

We recently stayed at this hotel for a conference, and the experience exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was helpful, kind, and attentive, consistently going out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. A special thank you to Erin at the front desk, who greeted us with warmth and professionalism, and to Jesus at the restaurant, whose friendly service made every meal even better. Their dedication truly stood out! I only wish every hotel had such an incredible team. The outstanding staff made all the difference, and we look forward to returning in the future!

It’s very convenient that the hotel offers a shuttle to and from the airport, which made getting there and back really easy. The hotel also has a restaurant and a gym on-site, which is nice if you want to grab a meal or squeeze in a workout during your stay. The rooms and bathrooms felt a little outdated, but overall the stay was still comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which definitely made the experience better.

The black gentleman running the shuttle who helped us was incredibly nice and helpful, I wish I remember his name because he was the only memorable part of the stay. He helped us lift our very heavy bags and ensured we had space on a packed shuttle. He could have easily insisted we take the next shuttle but he made our trip easier by ensuring we made it early to the airport. His kindness was a good start to our day, he needs a raise

Need a clean, comfortable, safe hotel before or after SFO? Don’t hesitate to book a room at this Doubletree. Clean (bathroom and bedroom were spotless); climate control works fine and quietly; bed was firm and plush with stellar linens; room locks, lighting, and staff mad one feel at ease. While free shuttle had comfortable seats, the shades rattled loudly (felt for the driver). Restaurant had the best fish tacos (daily catch) and a decent by-the-glass wine list. You can pass on the breakfast sandwich, but don’t miss the yoghurt with fresh fruit. I asked for honey in the side and it was perfect. Best of all: the staff. They’re wonderful and anticipate needs. I wish I had caught names as, from the restaurant to the front desk, these are people I would hire….and look forward to staying with

I would never stay here again. The rooms NEVER cool down. My family checked in do 2 nights at 7pm on a Friday & the room was at 81 degrees. It was so hot that my kid had to sleep in his underwear! At 1am the room was still 78 degrees and I had to go downstairs and ask for a fan. This is obviously a known and consistent issue here because the front desk went into a storage closet full of box fans labeled "double tree" and grabbed me one. Although the fan helped when pointed right at the bed, the room still never dropped below 77 degrees. I had to rescind my second night and find another accommodation due to this. You can feel the heat AS SOON as you walk into the lobby from outside.
